I like to combine themes. In my artwork, you’ll see me emphasize how beauty sits beside bravery, not in lieu of it. You’ll find grit paired with grace. Sensitivity will stand beside strength. Even fun and fierce work together! My purpose is to make art that holds meaning and intention, as well as beauty, curiosity, and style. Essentially, I want my art to help your heart talk to your head. I want it to be like nothing you’ve ever seen before so that you are excited and proud to hang it in your home where you will daily reap the benefits from living with it. And I want it to leak the message it carries into any room to brighten the whole place up.
I love mountain tops! But wouldn’t it be silly if I only liked being on top of mountain tops, but didn’t like the act of hiking? Interestingly, it's the climb where most of the memories are created. Conquering mountains, reaching goals, or living the dream are so much sweeter when we are in tune with the day-to-day process that it takes to get there. This week I’m sneaking you into the background of my print titled: The Star Within the Stride.

Something happens to a person when they begin to recognize and believe that there is something of immense value within themselves. A transformation happens not only within them but also through their life. As people break past shame and fear and heal from pain and hurt, it's as if they start to radiate strength. Fresh life is ignited and spread!
Unfortunately, I did NOT conjure up an actual flower tornado-vortex-wave-thing and shoot it through a secret door in the field. But if I could pick a super-power, it would be just that!
