I photographed this image in the summer of 2019, before I knew the desperate need of perspective, rest, clarity, and fun that we would all be longing for in 2020! Late one night, made my way carefully down the pitch-black, dirt road for the final night of my summer road trip. Photoshoot adventures are my favorite! After doing these photo-shoot adventures for years, I've found that sleeping in my tiny car at the trailhead is the best way for me to NOT oversleep for early hikes!
What happens when culture influences you? If I could spread any kind of culture, I think it would be the most fun to spread the culture of heaven. I imagine it to be a wild, delightful place, filled with the purest forms of love and joy.
Coffee table books are as functional as they are beautiful. Inspirational as they are informative. Entertaining for you as they are for your guests. Here are 7 great reasons to collect coffee table books.
In the video, I'll share behind the scenes look at the creative process and meaning behind my print called "The Star Within the Roar." IAmWoman,HearMeRoar. "Yes and amen," we all say.....that is, until our inner critic chimes in and says, “Shut the *#!( up! Who do you think you are!” Sometimes (all the times!) your inner critic wants to gag you and throw a dirty bag over your head....You should break up with her, friend! Good friends believe in you and challenge you to become all that you were made to be. They want to celebrate your victories and tell you the truth. You should have a voice like that inside your head!
I love mountain tops! But wouldn’t it be silly if I only liked being on top of mountain tops, but didn’t like the act of hiking? Interestingly, it's the climb where most of the memories are created. Conquering mountains, reaching goals, or living the dream are so much sweeter when we are in tune with the day-to-day process that it takes to get there. This week I’m sneaking you into the background of my print titled: The Star Within the Stride.
