My Simple Interpretation of Prayer: A Peek into "Rend the Heavens"

Imagine if you knew of a secret door to another world that you could open and pull a piece of that world into your own. What would you choose to get?

I'd like to get untouchable health and happiness for all my family and their friends, and my friends and their families.
I'd like to bring in an overwhelming sense of "I should probably not do that" to people that want to hurt other people.
And to people that are hurting, I'd want to bring back a really deep comfort that takes them through their pain and then somehow makes things better than before.
I'd also really like to bring back big, practical solutions to really hard problems our world faces.

This picture, Rend the Heavens, lays out that question. One day I thought, what does it actually look like when I pray? I don't always feel something happening right away, but what is going on? My curiosities led me to this picture.
