My Simple Interpretation of Prayer: A Peek into "Rend the Heavens"

Imagine if you knew of a secret door to another world that you could open and pull a piece of that world into your own. What would you choose to get?

• I'd like to get untouchable health and happiness for all my family and their friends, and my friends and their families.
• I'd like to bring in an overwhelming sense of "I should probably not do that" to people that want to hurt other people.
• And to people that are hurting, I'd want to bring back a really deep comfort that takes them through their pain and then somehow makes things better than before.
• I'd also really like to bring back big, practical solutions to really hard problems our world faces.

This picture, Rend the Heavens, lays out that question. One day I thought, what does it actually look like when I pray? I don't always feel something happening right away, but what is going on? My curiosities led me to this picture.
